This kitchen scale design was my Technology & Design AS-Level Coursework. My brief was to pick an everyday product and redesign it to make it more eye-catching and innovative. This is what I came up with (left).

 

As part of my kitchen scale design I incorporated a detachable touchscreen which will link to the scales via Bluetooth and be able to show the reading of the weight. The scales are operated by two buttons on the base, a "reset" button and a power button. The touchscreen can be used for any other function, for example, to change the weighing measurement.
